Hi, friends! My name is Regan Yoakam and I am the only one on the team who isn’t from around here! I grew up in a small city outside Columbus, OH but fell in love with Cincinnati at the age of 16 and have been here since I was 18. I went to school at the University of Cincinnati and studied Sport Broadcasting, but quickly realized I wanted my faith and my career to collide. I started pursuing a career in ministry while doing photography on the side. I’ve had a camera in my hands since I was young, photographing my brother playing baseball—and it hit me one day, photography is ministry! It’s serving people by being a part of someone's special day. Holding the umbrella over you guys so you don’t get wet and being your best friend through your engagement and wedding day. It’s getting to know your stories because they are so important and make you who you are. I want to portray who you are in real life when the camera clicks, not a posed version of you. I’m engaged to an amazing man, so I get to feel like I’m in this process with you!
I met my fiance, Randall, on a week-long mission trip in Nicaragua where he had been living for two years and I totally knew I’d marry him within five minutes of talking to him (I call him my answered prayer). God has been redeeming my life since 2016 and this job and these people are no exception. When I don’t have a camera in my hands I am probably planning my wedding with Randall, brunching, exploring new coffee shops, picking out my next outfit, watching college football and baseball, or serving at my church, Crossroads Uptown!
