A romantic summer celebration in Cincinnati, Ohio

Jordan & Gabby’s Elegant Wedding at Western Hills Country Club

There are weddings that stick with you, and Jordan & Gabby’s day at Western Hills Country Club is one I’ll never forget. From the moment I arrived, there was this calm, beautiful energy — the kind you feel when two people are truly home in each other.

I’ve photographed weddings all over Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, but this one? It felt special in every way. Intimate, elegant, deeply personal — just like them.

The Details

Gabby’s style is effortlessly timeless. From her clean, structured gown to the soft neutral florals, everything was curated but never overdone. Their invitation suite was simple and classic — ivory paper with delicate script, tied with a silk ribbon. One of those you want to save forever.

getting ready

Gabby got ready in her childhood home with her mom, girls, and their golden retriever, Dale— a house full of laughter, tears (the happy kind!), and the occasional mimosa spill. I loved how her mom helped with the final touches before she stepped into her dress. Those little moments? They’re everything.

Ceremony at St. William Church

Jordan and Gabby’s ceremony took place at St. William Church, a stunning and historic parish tucked into the heart of Cincinnati’s west side. The towering arches, stained glass, and soft organ music made the whole space feel sacred and timeless — the kind of place where generations have said “I do.”

For Gabby and her family, getting married in the church was deeply meaningful.

It was a way to honor their roots and hold true to the traditions that had shaped so many love stories before theirs. There was something incredibly powerful about watching them exchange vows at the same altar where Gabby’s parents and grandparents had once stood.

It wasn’t just a ceremony — it was a continuation of legacy, faith, and love.

Portraits at the Church & Country Club

We captured portraits in two stunning locations, each offering its own unique charm.

Right after the ceremony, we stepped outside St. William Church to take advantage of its timeless architecture — the grand doors, intricate stonework, and towering steeples gave us the most elegant, old-world feel. The symmetry of the building and the soft afternoon light made for classic, editorial-style portraits. It was the perfect way to honor the formality and tradition of the church setting.

Later, at Western Hills Country Club, we took a quiet walk around the grounds during golden hour. The contrast was beautiful — where the church felt regal and structured, the club offered soft, natural seclusion. Willow trees swayed in the breeze, and we found tucked-away corners that felt like they were made just for Jordan and Gabby. The warm light, the stillness, the greenery — it all came together in such a peaceful, romantic way.

These two backdrops told the full story of their day: rooted in tradition, full of intentional beauty, and completely their own.

the reception

After the ceremony at St. William Church, guests made their way to Western Hills Country Club to continue the celebration. The shift from the sacred beauty of the church to the relaxed elegance of the country club was seamless — a perfect blend of tradition and modern joy.

Cocktail hour took place on the terrace, where guests sipped signature drinks and soaked in the summer air. The view of the rolling hills and fairways created such a peaceful backdrop — the kind that makes everyone slow down and savor the moment.

Inside the ballroom, everything was glowing. Gabby chose soft white florals, gold accents, and lots of candlelight to bring a romantic, timeless feel to the space. Their first dance under the chandeliers felt like magic — one of those moments where the whole room fades away and it’s just the two of them.

Later in the night, the dance floor was packed, the laughter was contagious, and the joy was unforgettable.
